Fabulous challenge to-day. I love spirelli so this was a really fun project. I cut the spirelli forms from Nellie Snellen dies and used red Balger Metallic thread from Kreinik. The small stamp was hidden in my stash (it pays to 'bung-out' every once in a while!) from Stampendous. I used a Swiss Dot 'half' embossing folder from Cuttlebug and the greeting is a die cut from Elizabeth Craft Designs. A small 'fork bow' finishes the project.

Oh goodness, what a sweet little ornament the Spirelli makes with the bow. The metallic threads are great, aren't they! The one I used is meant to be a machine thread, but for me it keeps breaking so I need to find other ways to use it, LOL. The embossing on the base is great - makes for a really festive CAS card.

Sue, your beautiful medallion looks like an old-fashioned glass ornament where there was a scene or message inside...seen through an "indent" The spirelli gives the feeling of depth...and is beautifully done. A gorgeous Christmas card.

I LOVE the optical allusion that your Spirelli technique brings to your Christmas bulb. Sally is right, I own some of those old fashioned bulbs. Great design work of using half to do embossing and scoring and leaving the other half to showcase your die cut sentiment. Your fork bow is SO cute and is definitely the cherry on top!

Such a well designed card. The half embossed page looks so pretty. Those fork bows never work for me, but yours looks fantastic. You sure aced that spirelli technique...just amazing.
