Hi, everyone!! It's been a busy week with not much time for stamping, but I'm catching up today by playing along with the Featured Stamper Challenge (better late than never). This past week's artist is Crafty Julia......congrats, Julia!! I chose this beautiful card to recreate since I loved the layout!! Today's Inspiration Challenge is to choose a photo from Felix Doolittle's site.....I fell in love with the gorgeous colors of this calling card. For my card, I used the Hydrangea single and a sentiment from Sentiments Collection 2, along with the ODBD Custom Beautiful Borders Dies, all by Our Daily Bread designs. The image was stamped onto a white panel, then I used the "out of the box" technique by using a ruler and exacto knife to cut across the panel just up to the image (on top and bottom), then cut the top and bottom of the image with scissors. The outside edges of the panel were sponged in light blue and the image was watercolored with re-inkers and a paintbrush. After adhering the border die cuts, I sprayed Pearl Glimmer Mist then added liquid pearls to the flower centers. Thanks so much for looking! Have a very blessed day!
Angie (or Angella with 2 L's)
