Here is my card for Julie's (outtoimpress) challenge HYCCT1420 - get smooshed.
In the past 15 years, more than 200,000 breast cancer deaths have been averted thanks to that ground-breaking test we know and love -- the mammogram. With this challenge, help spread the word! All you need to do is try one of these fun Splitcoast tutorials (Ink,Spray,Smash or Acrylic Smash), make a card to inspire others and encourage those women you love to "smoosh or smash" and get that annual mammogram!
I have several pieces of ink/spray/smash papers I made several years ago - just waiting to be used. I cut the paper into strips and used some scraps of regular dp to mix into my background design.
Coloured HM image, stamped and cut out two balloons from the INK/Spray/Smash paper. Matted the image and sewed around edge. Used a stiletto on the back of the balloons to give the dimension. Popped up the balloons. Matted the base panel with purple and yellow c/s. Sewed edges. Popped up the image panel.
Thanks for looking
Hugs..Pat
