I really wanted to use my gel paste again so rather than dry emboss the birch trees on card stock, I created them with gel paste. Masked the moon, set the negative birch tree stencil on the card stock and then blended the background. I then traced the same stencil onto heavy card stock and created a positive stencil by cutting out the trees with a craft knife and leaving the background intact. I set my newly made stencil on top of my previously stenciled image (offset a little) and applied gel paste. Viola! embossed. The Merry Christmas was heat embossed.
