For Debbi's challenge: Tissue Flowers. WT: Heat & Dry Embossing. I wasn't sure about using these dies to create my flower, but when I started scrunching each piece around the brad, I couldn't believe what was unfolding in front of me! I Love the way this turned out, but only when I glued it on the card, I thought: Now this is not going to be easy to mail! Well, at least it looks pretty for now! ; ) When I looked inside my bag of tissue paper, I couldn't resist using the Victoria Secrets piece since it's Pink and pretty too! So glad I save things like this. There is a flower brad tucked inside the flower, I sponged around the sentiment & popped it up, added dots ef to the dp. Thanks for stopping in today! ~Roberta

Your flower is amazing, Roberta - like a carnation. I love the crinkled centre to it. And I always reckon that for HYCCT dimensional cards are less of a problem, since many of them will be used within the hospital by a patient to give to a relative/friend, or vice versa.

A VS card - how sexy! Seriously, that flower is gorgeous and you can save it in shipping, by cutting a thick CS or cardboard piece strip and wrapping it in a circle, then placing it over the flower. The width of the CS should be just a little great that then height of the flower. Then wrap a piece of tissue paper over it and around the card - secure with tape. Then place in the baggy and perhaps on the top of your card stack. You can also use a toilet paper, or paper towel tube and cut off just what you need to protect the flower. Hope this makes sense.

GORGEOUS and your flower is STUNNING, Roberta. VS has some lovely packaging and you knew just how to use it to make a beautiful card. ( I might have to shop there just to get their pretty wrappings.) : )

When I saw the name of the card, I wasn't sure what to expect, Roberta! Your flower is fabulous! The VS tissue paper background is the perfect setting for it - soft and elegant. And I agree with Sabrina's comment above - if a patient uses it, perhaps it will be hand delivered and mailing challenges won't be necessary. Thanks for playing in my challenge!

Beautiful my friend. This reminds me of the kleenex flowers we made in high school! Tissue paper is more glamorous! I need to try this! It needs a box to mail!
