WT502 = Cathy asked us to use dry and heat embossing. I heated embossed my image after dabbing on some acrylic paint before stamping it. I did a narrow strip of Swiss dot with a CB folder.
HYCCT1423 = Debbi's challenge was to use tissues/tissue paper. I have some gold tissue paper and decided to go "elegant". I used the faux silk technique which I had never done before.....and liked the results it gave.
This is a card that did not photograph well owing to my poor photography skills. There is a lot of shimmer and some sparkle (from the dull green glitter glue) that really doesn't show......so it goes!!

Great combo of techniques on this card Sallie. I love the little strip of embossed dots that adds some extra interest to this already very interesting design. Exquisite!

That is fabulous, Sallie! You did a great job with the faux silk and the combination of dry and wet embossing add so much texture and interest to the card. Thank you for playing in my challenge!

So elegant!!! I like your embossing. Did you emboss first and then place the tissue or emboss after the tissue was glued down. Either way, I am impressed! I used this tech. for the first time too. Fun is'nt it?!
