A new technique for me to try today, Acrylic Smash. Combined it with this week's color challenge, as the desert for that was to combine the color challenge with an HYCCT challenge. So I stamped my Hardwood image in Black Stazon onto acetate. Painted the back side with acrylic paint that I hope is close to Crumb Cake, and layered over white cs. I then stamped my image, colored and matted it on Real Red. Popped it up over my twine and acetate piece. Love this ALOT! May have to do this technique some more TFL ladies.

Mary this looks terrific. The colours are perfect for your lovely design. I am going to have to give this acrylic technique a go, sure looks impressive my friend.

Wow.. what a cool effect with the woodgrain -- love the way that turned out! And, it's such a perfect backdrop to those beautifully colored flowers!!! Thank you so much for joining in the HYCCT fun with my challenge! :-)
