This is card #3 for the Baker's Dozen Monthly Challenge for October. This month the autumn themed envelope arrived from Soni. Her challenge was to make cards for Autumn from her kit and to add in some lace. For this card, I used a piece of printed paper as the focal point. I thought of my DS when I saw this paper. He recently moved to the mid-west and he'll be experiencing Autumn there for the first time. I will be sending this card to him. I used a plaid background stamp. For the "lace" challenge, I used a stamp that looks like rickrack trim. That's as close to lace that I'm going to go for this masculine card. TFL

Beautiful autumn card! We send my niece red maple leaves in the fall because after moving to Manitoba she didn't have the same autumn reds she got back home. :-) Your card is perfect for mailing but has lovely details. Great look!
