I made this card for Bridget's HYCCT challenge *My Hero.* I struggled with this... I have many heroes, but not necessarily stamps to correspond.
But then I thought about heroes of the faith. Mother Teresa is one of my favorite people...she inspired people around the globe.
I chose the colors based on the habit she and her order, the Sisters of Charity, wear....white with blue stripes. The quote is one of my favorites, and she actually got it from a similar quote from St. Teresa of Avila. I added hearts for the Love and Hope she shared with so many people in the streets of Calcutta.

Oh, I love your thought process here and how you created something in honour of the habits they wear - Mother Theresa and her co-workers are truly worthy of being honoured, they serve so selflessly. The blue ribbon against the white embossing is so crisp and lovely and the sentiment is PERFECT! Very inspirational! Thanks so much for sharing your card and your hero story in this challenge!

Love the inspiration for your coloring and what a great quote - gotta be inspired by Mother Teresa! Super card for the Hero theme!
