On my little Halloween card for the MIX challenge, I used two different inks, one to stamp, one to stencil, I also used markers to color & a white pencil for highlights. Added some sequins & a big glass bead button for texture. Hope all that counts as a MIX.
After stamping & coloring the pumpkins, I used a cloud stencil I made with acetate & scallop scissors & sponged on light clouds using antique linen ink. After die cutting, I added a frame from designer paper that just happened to be the exact right fit. ThereÂ’s actually a faint pattern in it but itÂ’s a bit hard to see. I framed it with some orange paper from the same collection & since I really liked the swirl pattern, I cut around part of it at the bottom & slid the image panel under it. I die cut the big pumpkin out of printed halloween paper & backed it with a black print.
Thanks so much for looking! Closeups, the inside & the Copics I used are on my blog: The Write Stuff

Fantastic Halloween card, Julie. Your coloring always leaves me gaping. Love how part of the bg comes up onto the main panel and that pumpkin lacy die cut is FABULOUS!

Super, Julie! I love the cute image and that wonderful paper pumpkin at the top. Your swirl from paper at the bottom is great.
