Wow! No. 500 for the Color Challenges! Seems we're having a month of anniversaries. Last week was 400 for the Featured Stamper so we have a ways to go!
For my card, I went with the Winter Colors. Love these colors together! I'm also combining with Susie's HYCCT challenge to use music. I die cut all the poinsettias out of white (the smaller ones are ODBD, the 1 big one & the leaves are Spellbinders & I love how they complement each other). I used the Distress Inks to sponge on the color then stamped the music in black on top.
After spending 45 minutes trying to find dp to go with this, I finally gave up & made my own by sponging on the blues & greens then stamping the music again. Added an embossed white layer, a die cut ornament w/ the greeting stamped on a leftover of the bg, & a few sequins.
Thanks so much for looking! It's just been posted on my blog: The Write Stuff

Fabulous card, Julie. I love the Christmas color, and the poinsettia's made with a music paper design are beautiful. It's going to be difficult for those in hospital or recovering this Christmas - what a wonderful surprise your card will be. Thank you for participating in the 2014 HYCCT Challenge, and for sharing your time and talent.

This is gorgeous Julie! I especially love the way you used music dp and then colored them, making the the bg and poinsettia -- great idea and it is so pretty! Love the embossing and that ornament too!!!

Gorgeous Christmas card, Julie. You have such a unique and beautiful style. How you used the colors on this is exquisite. The various die cuts and dimensional poinsettia add such elegance.
