You’ve heard how an apple a day keeps the doctor away, right? Well, I love them (and have one every day myself). Here’s a wonderful apple tree that was fun to color and “carved” my DH’s and my initials! How cute is that? I colored the image and simply matted it with green. I think the image stands alone, and I love the sentiment. Since it takes a long time for a tree to grow, we really are giving a gift to others for years to come! Thanks for taking a closer look, and I hope you like it!

Aw...look at those initials on the tree! Cheryl and Walt, sittin' in a tree...k-i-s-s-i-n-g! I love this! Your coloring and shading is superb. Beautiful my friend.

Cheryl, what a lovely image and sentiment! LOVE your coloring! The soft blue looks gorgeous on this and how cute that you carved your initials in the tree! What a gorgeous card!

How true is that sentiment. So glad you carved your initials onto this "paper" tree and not on the real tree. What a great idea to personalise it. A great tribute to all things "nature". PS - I have to share my apples from my two little apple trees with the parrots - guess who wins?

AMAZING coloring...your "carved" initials are such a clever idea. I LOVE trees and collect both stamps and die cuts and I somehow don't use them! How silly is that? IRL I am surrounded by 800 yr oaks and two beautiful redwoods and several jack pine and all manner of other trees. So I have a love of trees in all forms and this image is wonderful! I love the basket of apples/pumpkins under it and it is such a great fall scene! Love this and it is favored and pinned!
