We are asked to create a step card for this challenge. I used the image of this exuberant little girl, to represent triumphing against cancer. Isn't she cute. I went all out embellishing my step card using paper piecing, layers, border punches, etc. The sand of the beach is very textural in real life with a bit of sparkle.
Thanks for viewing and commenting. I hope you can join us as we create cards for patients at MD Anderson this month. The Hope You Can Cling To challenges are open all month and there are PRIZES!!

This is amazing! That image truly captures the spirit of HYCCT!
I love the layered scallop lace trim on the bottom...and how they mimic the patterned paper on the sides. Great coloring, fabulous details.
WOWZA! Thanks for playing along with my challenge!

Oh I love this!!! I love all things Phyllis Harris and this is a stunner! Your sand looks wonderful. I have never thought of using a step card for a Phyllis Harris design, I am going to tuck this idea away for future, it showcases the image beautifully!
