Misti asked us to use something sweet for her HYCCT challenge, so I used a gingerbread house w/ gumdrops and candy canes. And I added a heaping amount of sparkling sugar in the form of stickles.
After stamping the gingerbread cottage, I masked it & stamped a couple of trees & another on a separate piece of card stock to fussy cut & add on top. After coloring them all & adding the greeting, I added some stickles for a little sparkle.
I had some striped paper left over from another project which had been die cut w/ a curved border die so I used it on the bottom section. I used a coordinating green paper from the same paper collection. A holly w/ red crystal berries was added on top of a big snowflake embellishment to finish it.
Thanks so much for looking! It's also on my blog: The Write Stuff

Julie, this is such a fantastic gingerbread house...it looks so 3D. The stickles really mimics the sugar...I get hungry just looking at it. Such a happy holiday feel.
