Lori's HYCCT challenge was to use colors on the warm side of the color wheel AND have something fuzzy. Yes, there is green on my card, but they are all yellow-based greens which in my mind puts them on that warm side of the wheel. Now for the "fuzzy" part, you are really going to have to look hard.....I put yellow Flower Soft on the flowers in the center(these are REALLY the flowers of the poinsettia plant....the rest are actually leaves, even the red ones)
Angie(stampinangie) was chosen by Stacy to be the Featured Stamper for this week. Angie's work was new to me and I was impressed by her mainly CAS gallery and use of ribbon. My card has neither of these attributes, but I was inspired by the colors and flowers on this CARD by Angie.
Congratulations, Angie...enjoy your week in the spotlight.

I love the richness of the background with this, it makes the bloom look inlaid into the design. and yep, in my mind there is a green that works all the way around the wheel

Beautiful, Sallie! Your w/c poinsettias are gorgeous! I DO have that PSX image..the first year I made all our Christmas cards I used it. I still love it and you've made it look wonderful.
Beautiful card, Sallie! I love the gorgeous leaves--even the red ones--thanks for the info, as I didn't know that! Your flower soft fuzzy centers are perfect!
