For today's Inspiration Challenge, I was inspired by THIS picture. I actually started this Wed. for the sketch, but didn't finish it & it also morphed a bit when I added the greeting circle.
The snowflakes were stamped w/ the lagoon chalk ink & heat embossed w/ the stardust powder (it’s a transparent glitter powder). The snowman was colored, then die cut using my out of the box technique. The middle section is some of the glitter card stock & I die cut it using a curved border. For the greeting circle, I inked it first w/ the teal ink then tapped the nautical blue ink on top for the lower section before stamping it. I added a gradient color to the “snow” using Copics and also to the embossed edge after die cutting it.

Wow Julie..this has such fantastically bold colour. I love your image and the 'out of the box' technique look fabulous. I really am going to try that. Thanks for the inspiration.

Fabulous card, Julie! Love your sweet snowman, who looks like he is having fun! You have colored him beautifully too. Lots of gorgeous details and a pretty background!
