This card is for ashjoy's challenge - Something's Missing - my snowflakes!!! Hoping this card will help someone stuck in the hospital for Christmas to see that even when "something" is missing, it does not take away from the beauty that is already there.
I diecut and punched the snowflakes out, and layered the blue DP on top of the silver glimmer paper with dimensionals. The sentiment was also done in silver embossing.

I'm not sure I followed your technique description, but I can tell you this: those negatives have surely created a positive in the end! That glimmer paper has a beautiful sparkle, and you did a great job of highlighting it with these snowflakes. TYFS!
