for Bridgets HYCCT Hero challenge I chose this image and made it a shaped card. It's just lying on the red for the photo.
My Dad was my hero. I miss him so much still even after fifteen years. He endured so much during WWII. Then he raised a family of five and many foster children in our small home. He was always cheerful and friendly to everyone. There were no strangers to Dad and every one was always welcome in our home. Home is all about Dad to me.

I can understand why you still feel close to your Dad and miss him after these fifteen years. But what wonderful memories you have. Love your image with the man's hands holding the home in a heart.

Your Dad sounds very special, you are blessed to have such a good man as father - I have so much respect for those who foster and those who served in war times. I love the clean simplicity of this image and the fabulous sentiment which is so true! Beautiful shape for the die-cut framing too. Thanks so much for sharing in this challenge, Janine! xx
Janeen, I love this! You did such a nice job on this and stamping on the die cut shape framed your image wonderfully. Thanks for sharing about your dad with us. Beautiful story.
