Aw, yes, service men and women are definitely heroes! I just read your blog-whispering (I don't like to read instructions either). Isn't it exciting though to find out you have double the tools, Lydia! Tidbit of info.-My DH served in the navy for over 26 years, and I was his wife during his whole career. My hats off to you because military wives play a huge role in their husband's success!

Lydia, military wives are heroes too, in fact, entire families have my respect and gratitude! I love the brilliant, vivid hues behind your fabulous silhouette with this classic, timeless and meaningful quote (need to hear it quoted more than ever these days, I think!) Thanks for sharing in this challenge, Lydia! xx

Oh my, Lydia. That flaming background is a stunning backdrop for your silhouetted soldier. It is a shame that there is such a need for active service these days, but yes, thank God for those who are willing and able to serve. Bless and keep them.

Gorgeous card! One of my favorite quotes. JFK was such a bright and shining star. I was devastated when he was killed. My Mother, Brother and SIL were going out to celebrate my birthday the day he died. Needless to say, we didn't go out and there was no celebration.
