For Bridget's challenge: My Hero. I chose my mother. She is the glue who holds our family together! She is always ready with a positive, encouraging word, prays for/with me, rejoices when something wonderful happens in my life, sympathizes when things go wrong, and she loves the Lord with all her heart, soul and mind! She has amazing strength, and I love her so.
I had to use this stamp set to honor her. I stamped my image on the card base adding IBBG to the edges. I sponged the edges of the crumb cake layer before using the tulip ef to give more definition. Thanks for stopping in today, and thanks, Bridget, for a wonderful challenge! ~Roberta

There's something profoundly moving and beautiful about this image in all it's simplicity - it really portrays the love of a mother for a child and what a wonderful mother you have to be thankful for, Roberta! Thanks for sharing this CAS beauty and for sharing about your dear Mum!

Roberta, your mother sounds like a wonderful person and even a better mother. You are lucky to still have her. Your card is beautifully done in the neutral tones and a fitting image of a caring mother.

A beautiful image to convey the soft and tender care of a mother for her children. What a rich and Godly heritage she is leaving you all, Roberta. Thanks for sharing her here with us.
