My fall card today features a pretty little Autumn bouquet of flowers & wheat for the Color Challenge (CC499). For the dessert, I added a little gold stickles to the centers of the sunflowers. I tried a technique on the flowers called stamp etching . I didn't add too many little etching lines on the flowers today, but I like the depth they give. After coloring them, I added some gold stickles to centers of the sunflowers & orange stickles to the other 2 little flowers. A few leaf outlines were stamped w/ the rust ink, then overstamped w/ the solid leaf versions using a combo of inks & spritzing. After cutting them out, I wrinkled them so they'd look more realistic.
The argyle background was stamped w/ the peeled paint ink & the diamonds were stamped w/ the scattered straw ink, stamped one off so it wouldn't be so dark.
Thanks so much for looking! Closeups & the Copics I used are on my blog: The Write Stuff

A gorgeous Fall card with these colors, Julie. I have not tried the stamp etching technique but I want to give it a try. Your stamp looks perfect; like it was made that way with the rich detail. The stickles give it a beautiful shimmer.
Absolutely wonderful, Julie! I love the stickles you added to the flower centers, gorgeous leaves and the argyle BG! I must say, your photos are always so nicely staged!

Beautiful fall picture. I LOVE too how you take your pictures, such a pretty set-up. Your leaves DO look real, will have to try that wrinkling up, so fun how little touches can make such a neat difference. Very cute little fall poem...surrounded by a pretty fall bouquet...TFs..:0)
