My first Christmas card this year! Yay! Living in South Florida, poinsettia plants grow naturally, and we planted last year's poinsettia that graced our living room. As we near Christmas, I'm looking forward to watching it will begin to turn red. So I really enjoyed coloring this pretty poinsettia that is an ornament, adding a border and just a simple "Merry Christmas" sentiment. This ornament reminds me that it's time to fill up my box of Christmas cards to send (and it also is the beginning of filling up my tree with Christmas ornaments), so I'm also using this card for the Dirty Dozen Christmas Card Challenge that Stacy Morgan (Twinshappy) hosts each month. Thanks for taking a closer look, and I hope you like it!

Picked this one out in the gallery straight away. Wonderful colouring and matching papers too. Another outstanding effort. Great start to the Christmas Card Box.

Beautifully done Cheryl! You do such wonderful colouring of your images. So pretty. And I might just add that poinsettias certainly can't survive outside after Christmas in Alberta! One more reason we like the Arizona sunshine for a few months of the year! Hope all is well with you. Hugs. :-)

Beautiful Cheryl! My mom usually buys a few poinsettia's to fill the front living room and always says I wish we could grow these here. :-) Your coloring is fantastic! Beautiful all around!

I love you made the poinsettia into an ornament, Cheryl. It is just beautiful. I'm down south but not south enough to grow poinsettias....how super that must be.
