The fight against breast cancer is a topic that is dear to my heart, so I really want to make some cards for the challenges this month. However, this is a very busy month for me. This turned out to be a difficult card.. First, I tried to squeeze it in between a lot of errands today...that never works. Next, I wanted to do the TLC502 challenge to emboss on vellum. To things that are hard for me are heat embossing and using vellum. Boy rid I struggle. The HYCCT1405 called for using pink and purple and 2 of something, so I added 2 butterflies. Well, I just burnt dinner while I was trying to upload this card.

It was SO worth it Francie! WOW, what a beauty this is! If it was a struggle, I'd call it a definite success! Love the way you colored this and that exquisite border is gorgeous! What a fabulous card!
Oh Francie, your description sounds just like my life!!! My DH is so patient with me, supper is LATE at our house more often than not because I have to glue on just one more piece or take one more photograph but I digress! Your card is beautiful! I love how you combined challenges! Great coloring on your image!

Bummer on the burnt dinner and the struggles you had, but Francie, this is such a pretty card! I love your hydrangeas, we see a lot so like that over here. And your two butterflies are great.
I'm moving this into the HYCCT 2014 gallery. When you get to my challenge ;-) (HYCCT1404) you'll see a screenshot showing people how to choose the right gallery to upload to.

Francie, you did such a wonderful job on this card. Sorry dinner was burned. Just as Susie and Angie said above, that is me too, burned dinner too or late. Thankfully my wonderful hubby has decided to take up some of the cooking or we would not be eating every night. LOL! Either way your card is fantastic and we all thank you for sharing.

Such a beautifully colored hydrangea and your leaves ROCK! I just love embossed vellum and might have played except for the reason I put in your pm... maybe later this week. This was SO worth the effort!
