Today's TLC is to stamp and emb on vellum or something like it. I had a blast making this card! I am also adding my card to the ATS+More challenge.
SU colors: tangerine tango, eggplant envy, gumball green, crushed curry
I swiped my SU pads one at a time on my Ranger nonstick mat. I rubbed the vellum onto the color, one at a time. Used a sponge to pounce on the mix of colors to blend them. (I tried mixing the colors on my sheet, misting and picking up the color on the vellum. All it did was mush the colors and turn it murky. All that was on my vellum were a lot of big wet spots of murk. Arrggh. Started all over and it as above. I guess it doesn't wokk like watercolor paper or cardstock.) The ink stayed a little tacky so I set aside for a while to "dry." When it seemed to be dry, with Ranger Perfect Medium, I stamped the inked vellum using my MFT burlap bkgrd. I then emb it w/SU clear scented emb powder. I don't like that powder because it doesn't stay smooth and sticks together like "blobs" in the jar. :( The embossing looks good and adds texture, which of course you cannot see in the picture. Drats! From the finished piece, I cut the leaves with my MFT emb leaves dies. I also cut the same leaves from burlap, cork, solid cardstock and SU dp. I distressed all of them to highlight the veins (the veins were so to the surface of the cork and burlap that basically the ink just went on it flat but looks okay.) I set them aside. Next, I cut my burlap frame + center. I cut a frame out of chipboard (cereal box) so I could glue the burlap onto it to make it raised. Next, I stenciled the center panel and distressed all around the edges. I also distressed the burlap frame as it was too pale for my taste. I cut the cork tag and stamped Autumn on it. I distressed the edges. I arranged and re-arranged the distressed leaves until I liked the look. I adhered them. (Note that vellum tape would not stick d/t the ink bleeding through the backside of the vellum leaves. I positioned them so I could use my tape runner on whatever was below them so they would stay in place.) I wrapped the Buzzy natural twine around the base, spreading out the strands so they didn't completely cover any of the leaves. Secured it on the inside with a piece of Scotch tape (wider, packing tape as the twine is pretty thick.) Added my cork tag.
Thanks for looking!

Oh my goodness this is amazing!!! I love that rustic outdoor fall look --- that wood looks so real and so do your leaves -- with the burlap and twine -- it all comes together so naturally! I love this!
