This is my card for Robin's fun resist HYCCT challenge which you can find HERE.
I love resist techniques! This is the second time I have tried Dina's great Layered Batik Resist tutorial. This time I knew to leave it ages to dry in between each layer, and that made a big difference .
Stamped the tall flowers first, embossed, then sponged lightly with Scattered Straw. Stamped Pocket Silhoutettes , embossed and sponged with Shabby Shutters. Stamped the tall grass, embossed, and sponged with Peeled Paint. Somewhere along the way I stamped the butterflies and sponged the sky with Tumbled Glass. At the end, after ironing all the embossing out, I sponged in some pink and added the sentiment. It's layered on a card base that I coloured with a gold marker.
You can find the Master Challenge thread with all the HYCCT challenges HERE, and the chat thread is HERE
We do hope you'll join in this fun month of challenges for our 5th annual Hope You Can Cling To card drive, with plenty of prizes for those who participate!

Fantastic! I love how you got the sky and the grass without it getting all murky and your resists stayed so crisp! This card is a whole lot of wonderful!
