This was done for Susie's Hope you can cling to challenge seen here. but, the more I think about this I think I should re-name it to "it'sallLydia'sFault" you see its like this, usually its Dina that causes me to collect supplies... but, the last few months I have been looking at facebook a lot more than I ever have in my life. and did you know Lydia posts links to amazon ( frequently ) just about all the "art" elements on this card followed me home because of that. The sentiment is up on higher pop dots than the bloom which was painted a long time ago and has been gathering dust on the table since then. the flower and the sentiment were both drug through some water-based wax (art bars) on the craft sheet. (you can't really see it on the bloom) The hardwood background was heat embossed with the shabby enamel and the was watercolored over the top of that with the graphite. tfl.

That sentiment is hilarious! Your faux white washing is amazing. I will not succumb to Lydia's enabling.....I will not succumb to Lydia's enabling....I will......not.....

Stacy this is absolutely gorgeous. I love the background you have created for this amazing card. I dare not look at Lydia's recommendations. I still have to clear my Bank of Dina debt. I digress, thank you Stacy for making this wonderful sample for my challenge.

What a lovely blossom! I have been introduced to so many techniques this month of challenges that I think I will have to cut my internet connection and slash my tires to stop the cash drain! Truly delightful background and I LOVE that sentiment!
Wow, I really like that background. The flower is pretty spectacular too.
