Lori's HYCCT challenge was "Shine On" -- use light to convey encouragement and hope. I used the sun rays stencil behind my ballerina. Today's lesson on my OCC Copic coloring class was to use the images we've been coloring to make a card. They gave us several suggestions of techniques. This one was to make a matching frame around your image by coloring a mat piece with two of the colors used in your image.

Oh my goodness! That mat idea is genius and soooo pretty! It reminds me of the illustrated Wizard of Oz book I had as a kid and I wanted to jump into all the beautiful Emerald City pictures! Love the sun rays! This card is all kinds of fab!
