I saw this crimped diamond effect demonstrated in a you-tube video. Basically you decide the size of your CS layer - mine was 4-3/4 x 3-1/2. Measure half in on all 4 sides, made a tick mark at 2-3/8 on the 4-3/4 sides and then at 1-3/4 on the 3-1/2 sides. Using a ruler and bone folder, I connected the tick marks, then folded over on the scored lines towards the same side of the cardstock. Now you put the long side of the now folded diamond into the paper crimper and roll it through as it's folded up. When it comes out, unfold it and voila....you have the crimping going all in all directions. One side gets a more dramatic effect, like a rope edge along the edges of the inner diamond, so I put that side up on my card. I also sponged the edges in Pumpkin Pie and layered it on another layer of Pumpkin Pie cut just slightly larger at 4-7/8 x 3-5/8. I had planned to place the crimped diamond layer directly on the Whisper White layer, but the crimping causes the centers points on each edge to come in just a little and the edge looked uneven against the bright white, so the 2nd layer of the same color Pumpkin Pie between the crimped layer and the Whisper White layer minimized that look for me.
