This is not finished, but since there is a very good chance that I will ruin it when I get home from work tonight and work on it, I decided to post the " before the disaster" version. I saw this DYI (actually red it since there were no photos) where you scribble with sharpie markers on a cheap porcelain tile and then drop reinker solution on it. So that is what I did...it took all of 5 minutes. The instructions ended there. Since I can never leave things alone, I am planning to use stazon ink and stamp some leaves in the green areas and an inspirational word in the yellow area. I might add a natural fiber bow or something. So, if all goes well, I will be posting a neat looking tile with a stand to give as a thank you gift. If not, at least I have this photo left. It sort of reminds me of a 1960's lava lamp. TFL, Francie

As soon as I saw this I knew it was you. You make the most amazing BG, and I cannot wait to see this finished project. And you are right. It does remind me of a lava lamp.

I never did drugs but if I would have I think this outrageously gorgeous image would have been involved...it is positively other worldly...can't wait to see how you complete your project! :-)

Not sure about the lava lamp connection, but i do love the tile you've created. And I love the idea of black outlines for leaves in the green area. Now I'm off to search the gallery to see if I can find the "after" photo! Thanks for playing in this week's Color Challenge!
