Barbara gave us some rich colors today for the color challenge. Elegant eggplant, crushed curry and garden green. All of my toys are packed up and ready to go to the new house, except for inkpads, and su stamps, and my dies. I started today with a stamp set that Ms. Karen Barber enabled me to get with her showcasing her beautiful colored cards using this stamp set. Stamped and masked....then water colored with the stamp pads. Added some score lines and stamped a border stamp. I like using the scorelines, it makes stamping a border easy to get it straight. Added dots with a small old bg stamp. Added the border lace die. I want to thank Peggy for choosing my card last week. I'm humbled when looking at all the beautiful creations uploaded to the color challenge. Thanks to all the team for bringing us this challenge weekly. We appreciate all your time and talent.

I'm impressed by your use of the border stamp. Silly me - I would never have thought to use it somewhere other than a border. But along with the dots, it creates a beautiful background for your gorgeous flower. Thanks for gracing the gallery with this card!

Wonderful floral card, Linda. I don't have that bloom, although I keep seeing it used beautifully in the gallery. I do recognize the border stamp and the little splatters. This is going into my faves. Good luck with your move - are you leaving your farm? At least, I think you live on a farm?
