I grounded myself from using my Gelli Plate until I use up some of the backgrounds I've already made. For this card I stamped onto a printed background using Versafine ink, then shaded over the stamping with pencil. This is for Fran's Hope You Can Cling To challenge - I used a friendship sentiment to make it fit! The stamps are from My Favorite Things, one of our sponsors this month! Thanks MFT!
This is just breathtaking. It reminds me of pentimento-where visible traces of an earlier painting beneath a layer or layers of paint on a canvas come through. The ethereal quality of the warm color palette is exquisite! Thank you for gracing my challenge gallery with this beauty.
