This week the tea party is for Greg. Greg is doing Chemotherapy right now. He and his wife are both English teachers, they love to read, and they love their little mini poodle, who just happens to love being read to. This is one of those rare cases where my inspiration for the little girl came from Ellen Kemper and the poodle is one that I created on a card that I created in 2011. The card is in my gallery and is Titled "Audrey and Ace". Thank you for looking at this card. I hope if you are not making a card, you are reading a good book. I used the Faux Denim technique for her pants. Take a light blue piece of card stock and rub with a navy ink pad till you get the look you want.

What a wonderful card! I love the shading and coloring on the girl and the poodle! Both the images are so darling..... I am sure this will bring some sunshine to both Greg and Audrey!

You really make great fun cards, Gail! This is no exception, I am sure Greg and his wife will be amazed by the way you constructed your little poodle and girl. Great work on the faux denim, too! I think I don't have the right colour of cardstock to start off with, mine never looks that good.

I love how creative you are with your punch art - this is an exceptionally cute one, especially with the little toy poodle!! Great job!! Love the faux denim!
