Hi all! Tuesday, the Teapotters made cards for Greg, a young teacher who is afflicted with cancer and undergoing his third round of chemo. He loves books, reading, writing and he and his wife also love their pet Poodle. I had no suitable book images and didn't want to use text/newsprint so I searched on line and I found the cute image of a Poodle that I used, here. It was my pleasure to make a card for Greg. I sure hope it will bring him a smile.
I used yesterday's SC for my card. To the printed black and white image panel, I used my Prisma watercolor pencils to add some color. I just barely moistened my finger with water and used it to blend the pencil colors. I think MFT referred to it on their tutorial a while ago, as "coloring outside the lines." Note they used a watercolor brush to blend, not their finger. Heehee!
I did not find the WT listed when I looked in the wee hrs on Thurs but I spied Sabrina's cute doggie card. When I read her description I thought the WT was to make a card with a dog. I did and proceeded to add my card to the WT challenge gallery. By then, the challenge was up and I saw I was wrong, it was to use a tree on your card. Ooops! I removed it. BUT ... the challenge I was actually looking at was to include a dog was the CCEE1439 challenge. Since I actually made it with that in mind, I decided to add it to their "National Dog Week" challenge.
Thank you for looking!

What a lovely little shaggy Labradoodle dog image. Perfectly matching background papers as well. The perfect cheer up card as well. All dog lovers will want this card.

LOL at your saga on the challenges - I do try not to give the weekly challenges away when I combine my CCEE cards with the WT ;-). That dog image is so handsome and has a great masculine feel, and I really love your sweet doggy DP. Great masculine card, Gabby.
