This is for my DIL Andrea. She does not like "fussy" cards so this card does not have a lot of content. She does love anything to do with the ocean and sailing and I had this lovely design paper from a kit from one of my classes that I was unable to attend and it seemed the perfect thing to use for her card. I added only the "Happy Birthday" sentiment from the Cricut Wild Card cartridge (cut three times, stacked and popped with cut down dimensional squares) and three half pearls. I used the A2 matting dies from Spellbinder to cut the dp and the black panel to give each panel an embossed edge. The dp panel is popped with dimensional tape.
Thank you for stopping by to take a look! I always appreciate it very much...

Peggy, this is SO perfect for her! Not only is the paper beautiful but I have the most profound respect for you for popping up that thin lined sentiment! Those micro-sized dimensionals had to make you blind! Love that font!

You DIL will love this! A nautical lovers delight. It may not be fussy, but I'll bet it took you no small amount of time to get that sentiment on there so perfectly.

I'm sure your DIL will appreciate how you tailored this card for her likes and interests, Peggy. It is beautiful and you wisely let the DP(which is gorgeous) do the work.

Oh, Peggy, this is beautiful! (I had to laugh at sweet Susie's comment - she's so funny!) I really love the paper you chose and how you've stacked the dies - what a wonderful effect! And the frame with just the pearls is perfect! Totally elegant, and we have to make a card that fits the recipient, so this is perfect!! Andrea is going to LOVE it!! Hugs, sweet friend!
