Peggy is our hostess this week, and she has given us a beautiful color challenge, Hello Honey, Very Vanilla, and Blackberry Bliss, with a dessert option to use Splatters on our card.
I'm going a bit rogue this week, since I don't have this year's new SU In Colors, but I brought out some retired colors that look almost exactly the same to me, and I used Confetti Cream, Concord Crush and More Mustard, as well as Very Vanilla. My Confetti Cream cardstock already has splatters, so that counts for dessert, right?
After I stamped and punched the flowers, I turned them over and worked them with an embossing stylus on a mouse pad, then turned them right side-up and pressed in the centers to give them a bit of dimension.
Thanks, Peggy, for such a beautiful color combo, and thanks to you for stopping by!

Those lovely flowers look great on your dark background! I really like the font in that sentiment. All the horizontal lines in your card are terrifically balanced and look wonderful together. Great card!

Such a sweet card, Barbara. The formed flowers really give this a great dimension and I like how the pearl centers mimic the dots on the concord paper. So nice!
