The background to this card was created by smooshing dye based ink pads (one color at a time) on a teflon craft sheet, misting with water and smashing watercolor paper to the liquid. Each color was dried in between different color applications.
The Nativity was embossed with clear embossing powder and watercolored using a watercolor brush and picking up color directly from the ink pad.
The star in the top right corner was created by placing stencil in desired space, masking off all unwanted portion of the star design with post-in notes and spreading with Golden Extra Heavy Gel Molding Paste. The last step was sprinkling the wet paste with glitter. Subtle but LOVED how that turned out!
