I'm so glad I took a look at the galleries this morning. Because I noticed that my friend, DD, and former SNSS DT sister, Bridget Finlay, is our FS Hostess this week. I wouldn't want to miss creating a card for you, Bridget.
I decided to CASE Bridget's beautiful "Make Your Own Lines" card here. My poppy isn't the same of course, nor is my sentiment. But I hope I've captured the feeling of Bridget's artwork.
Like everyone, I'm inspired by Bridget's faith and artistic talent. This Proverbs 31 woman was called to Ireland many years ago to serve and fellowship with souls who needed to hear God's message. I know she has a piece of their hearts just as she has ours. Thank you, Bridget, for hosting this challenge for the past two years. I'm blessed to know you and benefit from your inspirational work.
Big hugs,

Your card is just stunning and the bright, bold flower is the perfect companion piece for such a wonderful quote. Your design, color choice and execution all add up to an amazing card. Right into my favs.

Oh, Susie, you know how much I love this loose, fluid style of watercolouring, especially when done with a bright, vivid pop of colour and loads of white space - just stunning, my friend, and the verse you chose is incredibly meaningful. Your kind words mean so much....thank you, you're a true encourager. Sending you a big thank you hug, xx

Oh this is fantastic and such a wonderful tribute to Bridget. She has been an encourager to so many, and such a fantastic artist. So much inspiration in one gallery. You certainly did her proud with this gem :-)
