It seems it took everything in my arsenal to make this beauty. I had taken an image from Dover's Steampunk Dolls book and copied it onto card stock. I was going to cut out every little section, but I pooped out after cutting only the middle section. It then occurred to me that maybe I had something in my stamps to fill that void - Debbie Moore's steampunk girl slid into the opening PERFECTLY! *does a Snoopy dance*
While I loved the air ship idea, I thought she was rather lonely in the sky, so I also stamped the flying man and colored him in just a wee bit.
I used a Tim Holtz fragment over Graphic 45 paper as I thought the "Vintage Voyage" sentiment was PERFECT for this particular piece. I found some copper wire to put the fragment on, and I slid/glued the wire under the butterfly sticker.
I used Glossy Accents not only for holding things down, but I dabbed a bit on some of the controls of the air ship.
WHEW. ;-)
