A birthday card for my son-in-law who does not own a car and rides his bike to work. He has also been a bike mechanic on charity rides, and has built a bicycle from scratch. This is also for this week's Stamp to spend challenge to make a square card and to use fall colours. I inked up an acrylic block with the green and light orange memento inks and spritzed the block with water, then stamped it onto my paper. Then I applied the darker orange to the block, spritzed and applied to the top. the top still wasn't quite as dark as I wanted so I repeated the step with the 'festive berries' along the top edge. As I was lifting the block, some colour dripped onto the paper. I let the paper dry and mounted it on a black mat. I die cut a bicycle out of a piece of basic grey olive coloured scrap, and glued it to the square panel. Added a sentiment and I was done.
