I used maple leaves with a bit more dimension, changed the placement of the sentiment, embossed the bg panel.
In the woods around here, the fallen leaves from the big leaf maples will frequently show clusters of green. It's actually tar-spot fungus, which collects the chlorophyl and keeps it from retreating into the trunk of the tree. So my stippling represents a fungus.
The sparkle comes with tattered angels dazzling diamonds spritz. I tried a couple blobs of glaze pen, but nixed that notion. Bridget's bling looks so much better!

So soft and pretty with those subtle autumn colours and dots of green - the leaves look all airy and light, like they just wafted down to land artfully on your beautiful, clean, white space - love it, Brenda! Thanks so much for the kind words and for your CASE! xx

Oh, Brenda, what a beautiful card and such a lovely tribute to Bridget!! I love your CASE and especially how you've added more realism to your leaves! Gorgeous card, sweet friend! Hugs!

Aha - now I know why I didn't see this card earlier - you're a hundred TLC's out of date, LOL. I'm so glad I came across it today. And yes, I did think your stippling looks so like the sooty fungus I see sometimes here - a wonderful and funny inspiration.
