In honor of our very worthy Queen Julie, and for the wordplay dd challenge. Julie did this wonderful retirement card for the last vsn challenge that I'd hosted (every day vacay):
Loved it! Faved it immediately. I think there's lots more of her cards in my favorites... Congratulations, Julie. Enjoy your time!
Anyway, I swapped leaves for travel posters, leaves for the bg map, eliminated one banner, and did the fiber accent differently.
I "kissed" the leaf stamps with subtle autumn colors, then spritzed them with water to get the blended look. The leaves in the bg are stenciled with my copics air brush system, and then over-stamped with leaves from a Verve stamp set.

A Air brush system
V Verve stamps, and there's a tiny layer of Velour craft paper under the sentiment panel

Brenda, this is an outstanding autumnal card. And may I say how impressed I am with your air brushing technique (she smiles). I'm ashamed to say I have the system and haven't used it yet. You've inspired me to do so (she smiles). Are there ever enough hours in the day?
