After 3 weeks away on vacation, it was fun to get home to inspiring challenges! I used the last three SCS challenges for this card - Ways to Use It "Stencil It", Free for All "Birds, Birds, Birds", and Mix-ability "Faux Marble".
I spritzed a background of sapphire glimmer mist and then overlaid it with a star stencil with embossing paste and gold glitter. I created my faux marble piece using Biggan's instructions - I spritzed the wet wrinkled watercolour paper with two shades of silver spray and when dry, added silver ink to the wrinkles with a blending tool. I cut a dove die out of it. I kept some of the small cut-out bits of the die in the die so that I could pop them up with dimensionals to give more of a sense of feathers flying in the wind.

Glad to have you back in the gallery!! Beautiful card Susan ... love the blue spritzed sky and gold stars ... so pretty! And that dove is perfect to go with the faux marble.

Great to see you back, Susan. Your Christmas card is lovely with the flying dove and beautiful bg that you have created. The sprinkling of gold glittered stars adds a touch of luxe.
