I have always been a huge fan of Kittie's cards. She's just amazing!! I was playing around with yesterday's Mix86, to make a faux marble BG, and that experiment is the paper I used for the leaves. They were pretty dull looking, until I realized that Kittie had embossed her leaves, to give them depth of color and that made all the difference. I diecut the leaves, stamped the veins with close to cocoa (stamped off once), then used a stylus and foam pad to make the veins more realistic looking. They were inked with the versamark pad and embossed with clear ep. The sentiment is from DRS Designs and I used a ruler and marker to make the partial frame. Here's Kittie's beautiful card. http://www.kittiekraft.com/2014/09/f...classroom.html

Sue, your leaves are so gorgeous. I will have to go check out the Mix86 to see how you colored the paper. It is so perfect for leaves. Your sentiment is lovely and so perfect with the frame and the pops of color with the leaves. Thank you for playing today. It means so much to me.
