I just got back Thursday night from a trip to Ireland! What an incredible time!! I adapted this card of Kittie's to fit an Irish theme. Granted Ireland does have a lot of cows but they also have a lot of sheep, some of which will actually come right up along side your car! I'm going to send this to my traveling companion, my sister Chris, who drove our rental car the entire time! If you've ever been there you know narrow doesn't even begin to describe the roads. And everyone goes so fast!! You have to be Mario Andretti on steroids to drive there! So I'm sending this as a thank you for chauffeuring me all over the county! I'm sure our Irish SCS friends are used to the driving but we Americans are not! Unfortunately I wasn't able to meet up with Sabrina or Bridget as time did not permit but I have to say that the Irish people I came in contact with are the nicest people ever!! One guy told us when we said we were lost..."You can't get lost here..Ireland's too small to get lost"...

Beautiful interpretation of the inspiration piece! It just makes my day when someone shares the story behind their card design, especially when it includes 'who' will be receiving the card. Our hobby is perfect for bringing joy to others...if we could just get them into the mailbox! Smiles

Love your fresh colours and perfect Irish green grass! That little sheep is so cute! Great story. I'm envious. Ireland is somewhere I would love to visit. Great tribute to Kittie. I loved seeing her cow card as well. Your sister will enjoy this for sure!
