Your chickadee image is gorgeous, Sharon. I agree with you...your monochromatic card has more impact than if you had colored the image. Really a stunning and elegant card.

wow...that image looks fabulous not colored.....at first I thought there was some very light coloring until I read the description....really love the softness of this card

I saw your card as a thumbnail and was drawn to it immediately. It has the feel of Japanese brush painting though not the style. So very lovely! The delicacy of the lines in the image would have been lessened if it were coloured. Your instinct to leave it be was bang on! You have created a beautiful card! TFS
