Today Cathy asked that we use a stencil when making our cards. Every since I saw Dini's tutorial here, I've wanted to do this. My stamp & stencil arrived today! Just in time!!
I stamped off with Creamy Caramel. I placed the stencil & watercolored using TH Mustard Seed, Peeled Paint & Salty Ocean distress markers. I then shaded using my new w/c Prisma pencils & regular Prisma pencils. Stamped & cut the sentiment. Obviously I need some more practice but this was fun to do.
My hubby got some free greeting cards that are A7, so I've been using those envies! I think I will send this to my friend who's son just had surgery for a tumor on his tongue.
Thanks Dini for a wonderful tutorial to follow & for your inspiration.
Thanks for stopping by.

Karen, you did a fantastic job using the stencil and stamp to create this lovely card. This technique gives a much more realistic look of reflections on water than some I have seen recently. A beautiful card.

I saw this tutorial but ran away quick! :-) Looking at your lovely results I may have to reconsider. Love your light hand with the colouring. You can really see the way the light comes through the thin poppy petals. Wonderful job with that reflection. TFS
