My crafting is few and far between and if it hadn't been for my friend MariLynn, this card wouldn't have come together! I used a Funk & Wagnall's encyclopedia page...a gift from MariLynn and went to work. It would've been my parents' 65th wedding anniversary on the 16th, so I made this in honor of them. Butterflies remind me of my mom and the handmade quilled roses are their favorite roses, too. I embossed a small section and used blue Inca Gold in honor of my mom's favorite color. Oh, the memories.

Your love for your parents just radiates from this card and shines through in your description. I am especially moved because today is the anniversary of my mom's death several years ago. I just finished lighting the memorial candle when I went to look in the gallery. The coloring on your butterflies is gorgeous and the quilled roses are besutiful. Your sentiment is perfect. Just lovely.
