I had so much fun with the crumpled paper technique for CAS290 challenge that I created a second card for PPRS Monday Inspiration. This time I used a lighter weight paper and I didn't iron it. (more crinkles)
I love the fun images/sentiments that come in the Snowflake inserts stamp set as it lends so many possibilities! Inspired by the red crumpled paper I decided to go for the candy cane image on this one.

Just lovely! Your black strip really makes the color of your crumpled paper pop...and a sweeter image for your snowflake can't be found (duh - no pun intended!). Wonderful card.

Angela, this is just stunning. You have a real talent for CAS style cards...something I just can't do (my gallery looks like it belongs to someone on a psychadelic 60's drug binge). The crumbled red panel is the perfect backdrop for your snowflake. This is such a pretty holiday card. Right into my favs.
