This is for IC458. I choose this piece of art as my starting point and then changed out the colors and simplified. I used the dragonfly as my focal point and then tried to create a color block look using mulberry paper that I randomly stamped with IO's "Swirls" BG stamp. Yes, that aqua square went down a bit crooked, but once you xyron down a piece of mulberry paper, it usually won't pull up again without tearing. Ah well. Even crooked, I still like it. It makes it look handmade. Oh, right, it is handmade.
Thanks for looking.

How lovely to see an upload from you, Robin, I was just thinking of you this weekend. You've certainly captured the feel of much of the design on the IC site with this elegant card and soft muted colours. I really like your random swirled background.

Robin, it is SO good to see you in the gallery! I LOVE this and love the stamping on the mulberry paper! I love how you used the graphics from your inspiration piece! The stamping on it is awesome. I thought for sure it was designer paper! This is so unique and I LOVE it!
