Today Audrie took us to Surya's, a web store, for inspiration. There were lots of cool items therein. I kept finding rugs, like this one that inspired me. Love the design.
On a blue steel panel, in SU kraft white, I stamped two sizes of SU circles, overlapping them. Then I used two SU circle outlines with Versafine smokey gray, that I stamped off once, to add outlines to a few of the solid circles. I used SU ink with my MFT star stencil to sponge stars on a portion of the panel. In brown Stazon (keeping with the brown branches) I stamped my SU Spooky Spells witch. I colored the image with SU markers and Bic metallic copper and silver pens. Adhered panel to an MFT steel gray panel. Stenciled the 2/3 front panel and inside with the stars. Adhered gray panel to the front, partial panel. (Don't know what this style card is called? Earlier this week, I cut the front of the card base wrong but saved it, thinking I could figure out how to use it and it worked for this card. Hee!)
It was a fun card to make! When I figure out who I will send it to, and for what occasion, I'll add a sentiment. I send cards like this not only at Halloween but for a twist on other occasions, too.
Thank you for looking!
